you can't keep a baddie down
I have known Reilli for over 10 years. She's been in front of my camera many times, for important moments in her life. One of these was about 10 years ago. Reilli was diagnosed with Cushing's Syndrome and was about to undergo brain surgery. Her mom booked a session and there was this underlying feeling none of us were going to verbalize. 10 years later, Reilli is thriving. Living her best life. She's recovered fully, she's become a badass hair stylist, and she's solidly in her baddie stage. I'm so glad she called me to commemorate this anniversary of taking her life back and I wish you could have heard how excited she was when I suggested the Tulip Fields.
After the fields we wandered into downtown Mount Vernon to hunt down some texture, lines, and this beautiful light. This part of her session is just ✨ chef's kiss ✨ between the light on the river, that alleyway, and Reilli's personality.
I mean...you were warned she is a baddie. What did you expect?
