LIKE MOTHER, LIKE DAUGHTER
I've photographed Keira since she turned one year old. I can't believe she's a teenager now. When Jenn called me and said she wanted to do another mother/daughter session with Keira (it had been several years) and had the idea of "passing the crown" down to her, I was all over it. Jenn picked up the crown and we met at one of their favorite local places, Edmonds Beach for a quick little session. Keira takes longer to warm up these days, fully in her teen angst, but by the end she had her own ideas and played along with ours. There's something to be said for working with families thru the years, these kids warm up to me a bit faster than if we'd just met. Even if they are falling over into the bushes by the end. When we met to view their photos, she was super excited to see what we created. I'd say she still likes doing this with her mom and me. Thank goodness.
I hope you two survive the teen years and keep me along for the ride. Next time with Big Ah-ah.
